I figured maybe the length is why Aqueon says their 250W can heat 90 gal and the stealth is for 75. maybe different companies hav different ideas on what wattage can heat in gallons. I have two 300W models in the sump of my 240G, and after more than 5 years they still do a great job. Unfortunately others seem to have been less lucky. The temp in my Angelfish tank was about 100 F. They looked OK, so I turned off the WeiPro and plugged my Visitherm Stealth back in, set to about 82.
