The primary oil level looks good, not too low or high. Clutch "should" be adjusted correctly,,,per the service manual. Though the symptoms are such that of a maladjusted clutch for sure. If yours is not engaging until top of pedal travel, it's a good indication that the clutch plate is on it's last legs. Check your hydraulic level. The level will actually rise as the clutch wears. WebSep 15, 2007 · Well if they got a clutch that was say, 1/8th of an inch thicker, that would make the clutch grab low. Also if you take a look at the clutch peddle, see if the slave is stock and in the stock position. Replacing the slave, isn't too hard and not too expensive.
