Brakes won't pump up

WebNov 23, 2016 · Bench bled it before installing. Went to bleed the brakes, and the brakes won't bleed. Bought a vacuum bleeder kit and was pulling 25lbs of vacuum at the rear and still nothing. Now here is my question. I took a look at the proportioning valve and noticed that the little plunger under the rubber boot is stuck in. Web4WD. AUTOMATIC. 157,000 MILES. Everything was fine until the chirping noise. Quickly found out it was the Accumulator. Followed instructions exactly like they said. Couldnt get the brakes to pump up. So went ahead and replaced the Accumulator and bleed the lines. Started engine, listened to the pump come on and about 25 seconds later it shut off.

If they are both locked then pull off the wheels and verify that the calipers will retract.
